Certifying as a B Corp, or recertifying, means collecting evidence for a long list of requirements from people across the organization. B-Corpus gives that work a single home, so you always know what is done, who owns what’s left, and exactly which evidence supports each answer.
What
B-Corpus is a web application for organizations preparing for B Corp certification or recertification. It organizes the work around the B Lab standard itself, and builds a complete, verifiable record of the evidence you submit.
- Scoped to your organization. Answer a few setup questions and B-Corpus shows the requirements that apply to you, with the reason for each. If your answers change, the scope updates and the change is recorded.
- Clear ownership. Give people and Google groups access to specific areas of the standard, and let area leads assign and delegate work. People see only the areas they have been granted.
- Evidence with history. Upload files or pick them from Google Drive. Every version is kept, so reviewers can see exactly which version supported a requirement at submission time. Recertification can start from the evidence of your previous cycle.
- A tamper-evident audit trail. Every change is written to an append-only, hash-chained audit log that can be verified at any time.
- Ready to submit. Export a package with your evidence organized by topic and requirement, a signed manifest, and an audit summary, ready to upload to B Lab’s platform.
How
B-Corpus is installed on your own network, one installation per organization, so your evidence stays on your premises. Your team signs in with Google Workspace, and your IT team installs, upgrades and backs it up with single documented commands.
